Liver Cancer Awareness

October is Liver Cancer awareness month and Sarah Manes explains the Global Liver institute’s theme that “October is for livers.” She talks about her role within the organization and covers topics on advocacy, prevalence rates, risks, symptoms, treatment and survivorship for those affected with liver cancer. Additionally, Sarah highlights stigmas related to metabolic health and the uniqueness of the liver as a body organ.
